Welcome to PM-USB!

USB (Universal Serial Bus) comes with every computer you buy nowadays. USB is intended to replace all the wires and ports you used to have to connect computer peripherals. USB can connect computer devices such as mice, keyboards, digital cameras, printers, personal media players, flash drives, and external hard drives. For many of those devices, USB has become the standard connection method. USB was designed for desktops but it has become common on other devices such as smartphones, PDAs and video game consoles. USB can also be used as a chrager. As of 2008, there are about 2 billion USB devices sold per year, and approximately 6 billion total sold to date.

USB flashdrives were originally 256 MB or 512 MB but now you could easily get 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64 GB flashdrives for low prices.
USB technology makes connecting devices like printers to your computers easy. You don't have to have lots of wires, just one USB cable from you printer that goes in the front or back of your computer.
